Your Mission As Senior Director, People Operations, you will lead the operational backbone of the People function across Catawiki’s operating countries.
You will set the strategic direction for People Operations, Payroll, Reward and Benefits, Compliance, Employee relations & Wellbeing, Facilities and Workplace Experience. You will strengthen scalable and compliant operations while maintaining a consistent employee experience. This includes improving processes through automation, AI and self-service, strengthening governance and controls, and enabling better decisions through people insights.
What You’ll Do Define and own the strategic roadmap for People Operations, payroll, well-being and facilities, aligned with the Business and People strategy. Lead and develop the People Operations, payroll and facilities teams and well-being expert, establishing clear priorities, ownership, service standards and ways of working. Strengthen people operations across the employee lifecycle, including payroll, benefits, compensation operations, documentation and compliance, using automation, AI and self-service to improve scalability and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, payroll, tax, audit and people-related ESG requirements, partnering with HRIS, Finance, Legal and external providers to maintain strong controls and resolve issues. Oversee employee relations, well-being and absence management, providing senior direction on complex cases and using data and insights to identify risks and improve policies and practices. Own the facilities and workplace experience strategy for the Amsterdam and Lisbon offices, ensuring effective operations and appropriate standards for health, safety, security and hybrid working.
