About this role
Talon. One, an Adyen company, is the most powerful incentives engine that unifies loyalty, personalized promotions and offer management into a single platform. Built for enterprise scale and security, Talon. One helps businesses design and deliver incentives that drive real customer behavior. ABOUT THE TEAM: Talon. One’s R&D has a cross-functional group of engineers, product thinkers, and designers who build and scale the systems behind Talon. One’s platform. Each team owns a clear slice of our ecosystem, operating with autonomy and shared accountability. As part of the Platform Tribe, the Infrastructure team focuses on the foundations that power everything we build: Cloud Architecture, Kubernetes, Networking, Terraform, CI/CD, GitOps, and more.
We design scalable, reliable, and secure systems so product engineers can move fast with confidence. We value curiosity, open collaboration, and mutual growth. Everyone has visibility into how things work end to end, and we encourage mentoring and knowledge sharing across disciplines. Talon. One is building an inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives shape better systems and better outcomes. We’re based in Berlin and welcome professionals already here or excited to relocate.
ABOUT THE ROLE: We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Tribe. You’ll help evolve the systems that keep Talon. One reliable, secure, and scalable. Our team uses a Kanban flow and a quarterly roadmap that balances long-term initiatives and iterative improvements. You’ll collaborate closely with infrastructure, platform, and product engineers to build resilient infrastructure, automate operations, and simplify cloud complexity.
We value engineers who take ownership, bring proactive thinking to design discussions, and share knowledge openly. This is a hands-on role where reliability, automation, and thoughtful collaboration define success. WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE: 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps Engineering role, with a strong record of building and maintaining production systems at scale. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience improving automation, reliability, and developer workflows, ideally using tools like ArgoCD or similar GitOps-based deployment systems.
