Learn more about our division, areas, and cross-functional teams here! aufgaben Your tasks – this is what awaits you in detail You work on new and existing projects that push the business forward You seek out opportunities continually where data science can have big impact, pushing for those opportunities when they arise and pushing back when they aren’t high impact You take full responsibility for the end-to-end lifecycle of data science services, from initial conceptualization and prototyping to full-scale production You work autonomously or in teams of varying sizes on a wide variety of projects, some examples could include: pricing prediction models pricing elasticity models multimodal classifiers complex and ambiguous forecasting models You’re given a lot of freedom and responsibility to pursue projects that create real impact You actively share your expertise to raise the bar for engineering excellence within our data community You work with a team of highly skilled and very passionate data scientists and ML-engineers who actively support each other and share their knowledge profil Your profile – this is what we expect from you You’re passionate about data science and like to work with similarly passionate folks You have experience mentoring colleagues at various levels You have a long track record of conceptualizing and implementing end to end ML services that had a large scale impact on your company You have extensive knowledge of the data science toolbox particularly classic ML algorithms A proactive mindset and the ability to translate complex business problems into high-impact technical solutions define your working style You have several years of experience with modern infrastructure tools like Kafka, Kubernetes, or Datadog and have production experience in a cloud environment (ideally GCP) You have translated academic research into live data science services powering your company You are fluent in English (C1) and enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment benefits What we offer Create your own work-life balance: You have the flexibility to choose between working remotely (within Germany) or from one of our locations in Cologne, Darmstadt, Düsseldorf, or in Berlin!
