Senior Cost Controller (Wallonia & Luxembourg)

For our Business Unit Belgium & Luxembourg, we are looking for a Senior Cost Controller to strengthen our Finance team.

As a Senior Cost Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate project reporting, supporting project management teams, and providing financial expertise throughout the project lifecycle. You will mainly support projects located in Wallonia and Luxembourg (approximately 80%), combining office-based work at our Brussels headquarters (approximately 20%). Your Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the monthly cost control and reporting process for your assigned projects.

Analyse project performance, identify risks and opportunities, and challenge financial assumptions where necessary. Review and validate project cost control data in collaboration with Project Managers and operational teams. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial information and reports. Support Project Managers by providing timely financial insights and performance analyses. Act as a business partner for project teams and ensure that all relevant accounting and financial data are properly communicated.

Contribute to the continuous improvement and simplification of cost control processes and reporting tools. Prepare and present financial analyses and recommendations to the Cost Control Manager and other stakeholders. Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including experience in cost control, project controlling, audit, finance, or a similar analytical role.

Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Confident communicator capable of challenging and influencing stakeholders at different levels. Fluent in French and English. Dutch is considered a strong asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Affinity with project-based environments such as construction, engineering, or infrastructure is a plus.
