(Senior) Consultant Operations Strategy & Industry Solutions | Public Sector

About this role

You work on (digital) transformation projects in the public sector, guiding clients from operational strategy through to practical implementation. You translate strategic challenges into future-ready operating models, core processes, and ways of working, while leveraging opportunities offered by AI and automation. You work in multidisciplinary teams to analyze and address complex challenges within national and international public-sector organizations.

You present insights and recommendations clearly and convincingly and facilitate workshops and interviews. You coach junior colleagues in their development while learning from experienced colleagues with different areas of expertise. You work, learn, and grow in a challenging environment that values shared success and personal development. You enjoy getting to the core of complex problems and finding solutions that work in practice.

Additionally, as a (Senior) Consultant you have: A master's degree and 3+ years of relevant (consulting) experience and/or demonstrable experience with operating model design, process optimization, and/or technology-enabled transformation Experience with project management, independently managing workstreams and delivering work packages, and/or knowledge of agile ways of working An interest in the public sector organizations Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; you can translate complex analyses into clear insights and impactful presentations Excellent command of Dutch and English, both verbal and written As a (Senior) Consultant within Operations, Industry & Domain Solutions (OI&DS), you will work in a multidisciplinary team on transformation programmes for public sector clients for example in the defense, justice and security domain or central government agencies.

You will contribute to strategic decision-making, translate strategic choices into operating models and core processes, and implement these changes throughout the organization. We believe the greatest impact comes from working alongside clients to turn the proposed solutions into reality. You will work on complex societal challenges in which issues such as resource shortages, digitalization, and geopolitical tensions in the public sector call for new ways of organizing and working.
