OUR CLIENT A technology-enabled, leading U.S. financial services provider specializing in fast, flexible working capital and revenue-based financing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses across the nation. JOB SUMMARY The Senior Collections Specialist plays a vital role in protecting company capital and maintaining healthy client relationships across a past-due portfolio. Managing complex, high-balance commercial accounts, this position evaluates financial hardship, negotiates structured workout plans, and drives loss mitigation efforts while ensuring strict compliance with regulations.
Operating fully remotely in LATAM during U.S. business hours, the ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, expert negotiation skills, and commercial finance background to resolve delinquent accounts without compromising customer trust. RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage and prioritize a portfolio of high-balance, complex delinquent commercial accounts based on risk, balance, and aging. - Evaluate business cash flow and financial health to structure viable repayment plans, settlements, and workout arrangements within authority limits.
- Act as the primary escalation point for sensitive, high-value, or severe risk collections cases. - Conduct due diligence, financial research, and risk evaluations to minimize losses and prevent pre-charge-offs. - Track, analyze, and report portfolio performance metrics and delinquency trends directly to management. - Ensure strict adherence to FDCPA standards, state/federal regulations, and internal compliance protocols.
