Senior Calypso Developer

Location: Wrocław, Poland (On-site) Relocation: Candidates located elsewhere in Poland are welcome to apply and should be open to relocating to Wrocław. About the Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Calypso Developer to join a newly formed technology team supporting the Capital Markets operations of a leading European banking organization. This is a unique opportunity to help build a team from the ground up and play a key role in the evolution, support, customization, and enhancement of a large-scale Calypso environment used across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Back Office functions.

The role also offers long-term project stability, exposure to complex financial products, and the possibility of future internalization with the client after a certain period of collaboration . Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Calypso customizations and integrations. Support production and business-critical Capital Markets activities. Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, support teams, and architects.

Develop Java-based solutions within the Calypso ecosystem. Optimize performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement enhancements. Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical best practices. Participate in system upgrades and strategic platform initiatives. Requirements 6+ years of software development experience. Strong hands-on experience with Calypso. Solid Java development background. Experience with Oracle/SQL databases.

Understanding of Capital Markets and financial products. Experience with integrations, APIs, messaging systems, or event-driven architectures. Ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders. Fluent English: C1 Nice to Have Experience in investment banking environments. Calypso upgrade or migration projects. Linux/Unix administration knowledge. Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices. What do we offer you?
