🚀 We’re Hiring: Senior PLM Business Analyst – Digital Thread & Product Data 📍 Location: Gothenburg, Sweden 🏢 Work Model: On-site (0% remote) 💼 Role: Senior PLM Business Analyst – Digital Thread & Product Data ⭐ Seniority: Senior 📅 Assignment Period: 19 October 2026 – 19 October 2027 💼 Visa: Sweden Work Authorization visa is mandatory and no visa sponsorship is available for this role. ⏳ Availability: Immediately/On a short notice About the Role Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong PLM/PDM expertise for a strategic consulting assignment in Gothenburg.

The assignment focuses on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), Digital Thread, product information, and component-related business capabilities. You will work at the intersection of business processes, product information, technology, and digital transformation, helping organizations structure complex requirements, define future ways of working, and translate business needs into actionable solutions.

The role combines business analysis, process development, solution design, stakeholder management, and delivery support. Key Responsibilities Conduct business analysis and capability assessments related to PLM and product information. Map current-state and future-state processes, information flows, capabilities, and user needs. Gather, analyze, structure, and document business requirements. Translate business requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Work closely with architects, product managers, developers, and subject matter experts to detail solutions. Facilitate workshops, interviews, stakeholder discussions, and cross-functional alignment sessions. Develop process maps, solution concepts, business cases, and decision material. Support backlog management, prioritization, and roadmap development. Drive assigned initiatives from initial analysis through implementation support.

Identify dependencies, risks, gaps, and decision points across business and technical functions. Contribute to change management, communication, and user adoption activities. Help improve the quality, traceability, governance, and reusability of product information across the product lifecycle. Support initiatives involving product structures, configurations, technical documentation, and engineering information. Required Experience & Qualifications Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, PLM Business Analyst, or similar role.

Strong hands-on knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM). Extensive understanding of PDM processes, information structures, logic, and system solutions. Experience working within complex product development and engineering environments. Proven ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and implementable solutions. Experience facilitating workshops and working with stakeholders across multiple functions.

Strong understanding of business processes, information flows, and digital solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned activities through to completion. Highly Desirable Experience with Digital Thread initiatives. Experience with product information management or master data initiatives. Experience managing product structures, configurations, technical documentation, and engineering information.

Experience supporting digital transformation within product development organizations. Knowledge of PLM/PDM architecture, information models, and associated enterprise tool landscapes. Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar agile delivery tools. Experience working in large, complex industrial or engineering organizations. Experience with component sales, aftermarket, or product information initiatives.

Able to challenge assumptions constructively and drive work forward. Comfortable working independently while maintaining strong stakeholder collaboration. Background Verification Due to the nature of the assignment, background verification will be required before the selected consultant starts the assignment. The required verification may include identity, right-to-work, address history, education, financial fitness, corporate directorships, criminal records where permitted by applicable legislation, and basic open-source/media checks.
