Location & format: Onsite — Limassol, Cyprus Full relocation support provided THE MISSION OF THIS ROLE We are building an AI Platform team, and you will join as one of its first engineers. Our goal is to dramatically increase the leverage our engineering and product teams get from LLMs by building shared production infrastructure across the development lifecycle: secure access to models and tools, MCP infrastructure, knowledge and retrieval, agent execution, observability, evaluation and automation.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: - Build and operate core AI infrastructure: model access, provider abstraction, identity, credentials, quotas, fallback, usage and cost visibility. - Build managed MCP infrastructure with tool-level access control, credentials, auditability and self-service onboarding. - Design runtime and orchestration capabilities for production AI agents, from knowledge retrieval and log analysis to code execution and workflow automation.
- Build observability, evaluation and security guardrails for AI workloads. - Work with engineering and product teams to turn high-impact AI use cases into reusable platform capabilities. - Own systems end-to-end: architecture, implementation, infrastructure, deployment, observability and production support. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: - 5+ years of experience designing and delivering production backend, infrastructure or platform services.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Strong system-level understanding: service and API design, distributed systems and data flows. - Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure and container orchestration with Kubernetes. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD, observability, reliability and production operations. - Practical understanding of authentication, authorization, secrets management and secure service design.
