Senior Actuarial Consultant
About this role
To support the growth of its Group Benefits business, the full-time remote Senior Actuarial Consultant will analyze claims data, establish reserves, and communicate actuarial conclusions to business leaders while focusing on Group Health and Employer Stop Loss valuation. Key Responsibilities: Perform monthly and quarterly claims analysis, loss valuation, and reserve calculations Construct, maintain, and enhance actuarial projection, valuation, and financial reporting models Support statutory valuation activities, reinsurance analysis, and pricing Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field Approximately four to seven years of actuarial experience ASA or comparable Associate-level actuarial credential; candidates progressing toward FSA are encouraged to apply Experience in actuarial valuation and loss reserving, financial reporting, or related insurance analytics Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Excel-based actuarial models
