Senior Accounts Payable Assistant
About this role
We are seeking an organized and efficient Senior Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team in Crewe, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be responsible for being a senior member of an established accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. You will also provide support and mentoring to newer members of the team to help build their knowledge and capability.
Managing the end-to-end accounts payable processes for Radius suppliers on various ERP systems. Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external contacts. Inputting, coding and gaining the relevant authorisation for all Invoices. Raising and checking payments. Performing statement reconciliations and owning Creditor ledgers. Bank reconciliations. Process Improvement Implementation. Effective written and verbal communication Team player with the ability to work on your own initiative and support the development of junior colleagues Excellent attention to detail Highly organised and ability to prioritise and manage own workload Strong commitment to providing the very best customer service It would be desirable to have skills in the following: Sage platforms Experience Multi-Currency Exposure Purchase Order System knowledge Benefits: A friendly culture that mirrors our proposition to our customers.
