About this role
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-02, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-07 or equivalent in the Federal Service.
Specialized experience must include applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiate complex key leader issues; and maintain good working relations with internal and external organizations; knowledge to provide protocol expertise on policies and procedures for DV-level visits; knowledge of a wide range of manpower, personnel, management principles, administrative practices and procedures KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of duties, priorities, commitments, policies and program goals of the SBD 41 Commander.
Complete knowledge of SBD 41's mission. Complete understanding of the legality, goals, missions, operations, policies, and procedures that govern the SBD 41 support mission. Ability to critically analyze the Commander's, Deputy Commander's, the Director of Staff's, the Command Chief's, the Senior Enlisted Airman's and multiple Squadron Commander's schedules when scheduling key meetings, conferences, and DV-level visits to maximize key leaders' use of time.
Ability to apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiate complex key leader issues; and maintain good working relations with internal and external organizations. Knowledge to provide protocol expertise on policies and procedures for DV-level visits.
