Sales Team Manager
About this role
As a Sales Team Manager , you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing a team of B2B sales professionals. You'll play a hands-on role in supporting new business acquisition, customer onboarding, and account growth while ensuring your team consistently delivers against key performance indicators and sales targets. You will create a high-performance culture, driving activity, accountability, and customer excellence across your team.
Key Responsibilities: Working amongst your team, assisting our Sales executives in attaining new business, managing customer onboarding, and developing robust customer relationships through cross-sell A proactive approach to assisting and driving your team reach KPI’s and targets consistently - following up appropriate business customer data and actively leading from the front and selling our products where necessary Managing the day-to-day activities of the team to ensure activity/productivity targets are met.
Motivating the team to display a winning attitude and in turn consistently exceed sales targets Conducting, documenting, and following up regular performance reviews with your team Conducting team meetings in line with the needs of the business, to maximise sales results and returns Delivering performance improvement where required to quickly alleviate under performance Delivering and displaying best practice and an excellence in customer care Previous experience in a sales leadership or team management role.
B2B sales experience, ideally in fuel cards, Telematics, or a related sector. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to influence decision-makers and build lasting business relationships. Proven experience coaching, motivating, and developing successful sales teams. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. A proactive, results-driven approach with a passion for exceeding targets.
