Sales Director - Consumer Product Testing (Remote)

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking a Sales Director with 4+ years of experience in softlines and hardlines consumer product testing sales to join our Intercompany Sales Excellence team. This remote role is designed for a driven business development professional transitioning into full-cycle sales. You will be primarily responsible for achieving territory financial objectives, securing new client accounts, and expanding existing relationships through strategic sales and marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Revenue Growth Pipeline Generation: Research and map prospective clients via inbound inquiries, cold outreach, and targeted email campaigns. Client Discovery & Pitching: Conduct discovery calls to evaluate client needs, budgets, and decision-making authority, aligning solutions to their requirements. Full-Cycle Sales Management: Navigate early-to-mid sales cycles, leveraging Eurofins' global network to deliver end-to-end client solutions.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate, real-time records of all interactions and sales stages in our CRM (Scoro). Performance Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for discovery meetings, qualified leads, and closed revenue. Account Management & Service Execution Client Retention & Expansion: Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts and manage revenue forecasting and strategic outlooks.
Program Oversight: Lead periodic performance reviews with key clients, managing service execution and KPIs in alignment with agreed operating protocols and internal SOPs. Cross-Division Collaboration: Partner with Key Account Managers across Eurofins divisions to coordinate global capabilities and ensure seamless client onboarding. Issue Escalation: Resolve service concerns promptly, escalating critical matters to the Business Unit Manager and Managing Director when necessary.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in business development, sales development, or account management—specifically within consumer product testing (softlines/hardlines), B2B, or professional services. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Track Record: Proven history of meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas and growth targets. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of quality management systems, accreditation standards, and consumer product safety protocols.
