Reservation and Groups Supervisor

We are looking for a Reservation and Groups Supervisor for Novotel London Bridge. We believe that having the right personality is more important than industry experience. Some of the duties will include: - being responsible for the organisation and quality of the room sales service by maximising the occupancy rate and the average rate per room - collaborating closely with the Revenue Manager and Operations Manager to pursue the highest profitability for the department and the hotel - establishing excellent relations with all customers, playing an active role in ensuring customers’ loyalty - maximising turnover of the department based on the occupancy rate and the average price of the rooms - checking invoicing of "no-shows" and cancellations - covering front desk when necessary Previous experience in hotel reservations, front office, or groups , ideally within a busy hotel environment.

Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems and Opera/PMS . Good understanding of room inventory, rates, availability and group bookings . Excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills . Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines. Confident handling group enquiries, contracts, deposits and billing requirements . Good commercial awareness and ability to identify upselling and revenue opportunities .
