About this role

Tax Review & Prep: Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring data is interpreted accurately and reflects the client's strategic goals. Able to work more complex tax returns. Handle tax engagements from inception to closure. Advisory & Planning: Implement business tax planning solutions and provide proactive advice based on a solid understanding of current tax concepts. Ability to provide clients with estimates and tax research Team Mentorship: Act as a technical resource and supervise less experienced staff, helping them grow through knowledge transfer and guidance.

Client Communication: Break down complex technical tax terms into clear, actionable advice that entrepreneurs can actually understand and use. Experience: Previous public accounting experience is required, specifically working with multiple clients simultaneously. Credentials: EA or CPA designation preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of tax planning and data interpretation.

Proficiency in the latest tax software is highly preferred. Mindset: You are a strategic thinker who enjoys the "advisory" side of tax and thrives in a 100% virtual team.
