Relief Security Officer

About this role

Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors. Conducting regular safety and security patrols. Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures. Supporting emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches. Keeping vigilant, reporting incidents, and preventing disruption. Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers.

Provide a visible security presence across the site Conduct regular foot patrols Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms Manage access control and visitor sign-in procedures Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally Complete accurate incident and shift reports Assist employees, contractors, and visitors Ensure all health, safety, and security procedures are followed at all times Please note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role.

Ideally, you’ll have: What We're Looking For: Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle Previous corporate security experience preferred Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and attitude Strong attention to detail and observational skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays See a different world with Securitas UK Ready to make a difference?
