GS-15: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-14 in the Federal Service.Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

Qualifying specialized experience is defined as meeting all of the following: Experience evaluating the effectiveness of labor workforce investment program activities (e.g., employment, training, education, and support services) as they relate to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act-WIOA) and developing and implementing labor workforce improvement strategies for a state, local, community-based or government program; AND Experience directing, managing, planning, developing, coordinating, and/or implementing policy and law in a working environment within areas of a state or Federal workforce investment program (e.g., employment, training, education, and support services) as they relate to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act-WIOA); AND Experience planning, assigning, and evaluating the work of subordinates.
