You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Specialized Experience for GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes:1) Conducting and negotiating real estate acquisition actions for lands, easements, rights-of-way, partial interests, and high-value properties.
2) Overseeing property interests and settlement terms by non-Federal sponsors and government agencies. 3) Reviewing acquisition files, surveys, title documents, appraisals, deeds, and relocation agreements for completeness and compliance with applicable requirements. 4) Preparing acquisition reports, counteroffers, and recommendations to support property acquisition, relocation, or condemnation actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
