As a QA Engineer, you'll be the quality advocate within your team, helping shape testing practices, drive automation efforts, and ensure that reliable software is delivered with confidence.
You'll work closely with developers, product stakeholders, and fellow engineers to build quality into every stage of the delivery process. } } ; { your_responsibilities: [ Own and continuously improve the team's testing approach, becoming the go-to person for testing topics in an agile environment. Ensure test readiness across infrastructure, environments, and test data to enable smooth and reliable execution. Design, implement, and expand automated test coverage, with a strong focus on backend systems and APIs.
Collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders to identify risks, clarify requirements, and prevent defects early in the development lifecycle. Analyze test failures and defects, support root-cause analysis, and identify recurring quality issues and opportunities for continuous improvement. Share regular testing insights, results, and quality metrics with stakeholders, supporting informed release decisions.
Contribute to Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery practices, helping the team improve quality while maintaining delivery speed. ] } ; { following_qualifications_would_be_in_line_with_our_desired_profile_for_this_position: [ Experience in software quality assurance and test automation, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and risk-based testing. Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, backend testing, and API validation, including different testing levels and approaches such as integration, contract, component, and end-to-end testing.
Programming experience with Java, Kotlin, or comparable technologies, with an interest in continuously improving testing practices and automation coverage, as well as an openness to learning and developing skills in mobile QA. Familiarity with SQL and database validation, as well as test environments, test data management, mocking, and service virtualization. A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to communicate effectively in cross-functional environments.
