Public Relations Manager
About this role
Public Relations Manager / Sr. Manager AI's ambitions keep outpacing the infrastructure and economics underneath it. WEKA exists to close that gap. The WEKA® NeuralMesh™ software platform gives enterprises, AI cloud providers, research teams, and frontier AI builders a unified foundation for AI training, inference, and agentic workloads, purpose-built for the inference economy. A growth-stage company backed by world-class investors, WEKA holds more than 170 patents and is trusted by the world's most ambitious AI builders and innovators.
We're accountable, brave, collaborative, and customer-centric. These core values define how we work and win together. If we sound like your kind of people, join us! About The Role WEKA is seeking a Public Relations Manager to run and accelerate the media engine behind one of the most consequential stories in enterprise tech. This is a fully external-facing role, focused entirely on public relations and earned media. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications, you'll pitch and place stories, execute launches, direct agency operations day to day, and keep WEKA in the conversations that matter.
The mission is bigger than just announcement and launch coverage. It's trend authority and thought leadership. You’ll ensure WEKA experts are quoted in the stories that define the inference economy, forging trusted-source relationships the industry turns to when news breaks, and sharpening points of view that shape how the market thinks about data infrastructure today and why AI demands a new approach built for this era.
You'll build trust and authority story by story, source by source, until WEKA is the call journalists and industry commentators make first. What You'll Be Working On Media and influencer relations. Pitch and place stories with tier-one tech, business, and AI trade media and influencers. Build relationships that survive and thrive beyond product launches and company announcements. Trend authority and trusted commentary.
Run AI-assisted monitoring of the news cycle and competitive landscape, develop sharp points of view on breaking trends, and place expert commentary while the story is still moving. Make WEKA spokespeople the sources reporters call before deadline, and know when silence is the smarter play. Thought leadership. Build the pipeline that establishes WEKA experts as recognized voices in AI infrastructure: bylines, contributed articles, podcasts, speaking opportunities, and industry awards and rankings that compound third-party credibility.
