About this role
To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Specialized experience must include the following: Experience designing and/or implementing traditional and digital media strategies. Experience generating, editing, publishing, and/or sharing engaging content on a daily basis through traditional and digital media platforms. Experience developing new information materials including news releases, communications action plans, feature articles, communications tool kits, and bulletins that increase communication with the agency's audiences.
Experience planning and implementing communications campaigns to convey information to a wide range of internal and external audiences on a variety of initiatives, programs, policies, and activities. Experience facilitating strategic communication initiatives in coordination with senior leaders, program offices, and intradepartmental and interagency partners. Experience staying up to date with current technologies and/or trends in digital media, design tools and applications.
