Program Specialist

About this role

To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.

Advising leadership and field units of potential safety and security issues associated with new projects, amendments to existing operations, novel use-cases, or emergent technologies. Leading groups through safety, security, and regulatory topics around common and novel use cases of alternative fuels in the maritime industry. Applying emerging and experimental alternative-fuel concepts to identify and solve problems and develop national level policy and guidance.

Maintaining annual office budget and developing annual spend plan in coordination with Office Leadership and staff.
