You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade or band is required. It is defined as one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-12/13 equivalent or higher) in the Federal Service, which includes the following: 1) Effectively managing assigned rotary wing programs in various areas such as cost, scheduling, and performance to ensure program objectives are met; 2) Analyzing rotary wing program risks, issues, and opportunities to determine appropriate management strategies; 3) Developing acquisition strategies for implementation to achieve program goals; and 4) Preparing acquisition packages for the procurement and fielding of capabilities for rotary wing platforms to include requests for proposals, statement of works, contract data deliverables, cost estimates, specifications and technical evaluations.
