About this role
Minimum Qualification Requirements You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-15, if you possess the specialize experience, education, or a combination of the two. Specialized Experience for the GS-15 One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-14 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: 1. Experience implementing Federal, state, or local education grant program(s), such as those under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), including developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure effective implementation.
2. Experience directing the evaluation and continuous improvement of education programs and using improvement and oversight strategies such as technical assistance, guidance and/or monitoring. 3. Experience supervising or leading employees, including developing, recognizing, supporting, and holding employees accountable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs).

Knowledge of Federal, state, or local grants, program management, monitoring, and implementation of policies, regulations, and procedures associated with the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
2. Skill in keeping internal and external customers informed of issues through technical assistance and presentations. 3. Ability to plan, coordinate and lead office functions, such as work assignments, team building and leadership. 4. Ability to direct the development of new procedures or business processes to improve agency or company efficiency and effectiveness.
