Program Manager (Deputy Director)

About this role

NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as leading strategic planning and directing regional mission support to integrate operations and meet federal requirements; establishing and overseeing program controls to evaluate performance and implement improvements; and representing the Director and Region on national and interagency forums to coordinate programs and resolve complex issues with external stakeholders.

You will need the following competencies in order to perform the duties of this position successfully: Planning and Evaluating Strategic Thinking* Policy Planning and Execution Program/Project Management/Evaluation Partnering Influencing/Negotiating Accountability Budget and Cost Management* Organizational Performance Analysis Supervisory and Leadership Judgment* Financial Management and Analysis *You will be evaluated on these critical competencies.
