PROGRAM MANAGER (ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER ACQUISITION)

Term Appointment NTE - Position will be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 5 years. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of six years. NH-03-Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience is defined as: 1) Performing acquisition life-cycle support and project analysis in accordance with Defense Acquisition System policies and procedures; 2) Formulating and/or presenting cost, schedule, and performance requirements to meet milestones across engineering, development, testing, integration, production, fielding, and/or sustainment; 3) Coordinating with and/or advising project officials on project management and acquisition issues to support effective program execution AND 4) Planning and/or executing pre and post award contracting actions for complex and/or specialized procurements for assigned projects.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 (GS-11).
