PROGRAM MANAGER
About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DA-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Program Manager. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Providing overall direction, coordination, and management of all facets for Aviation Maintenance and Aircrew/Operator training systems; (2) Interfacing with headquarters, contractors, and other government activities on all program matters; (3) Directing the activities of a multi-disciplinary staff of assistant managers, project engineers, business managers, and functional specialists (who may or may not be under direct administrative control) to ensure overall technical and project direction of the Aviation Training program.
(4) Preparing and managing all planning documentation associated with program organization, product development, and material acquisition, including budgets, schedules, reports, and related records; and (5) Implementing and ensuring compliance with national, headquarters, and local policies applicable to the program.
