About this role

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating complex program segments or administrative services that support a mission-oriented organization, including developing goals, objectives, work plans, milestones, and performance measures to ensure timely execution and achievement of program outcomes Providing authoritative advice and recommendations to senior managers or operating officials on program management issues, resource utilization, organizational requirements, workload analysis, policy implementation, and long-range planning affecting a major program or organizational segment Applying qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to assess program effectiveness, identifying operational or management problems, evaluating alternatives, and developing recommendations to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, internal controls, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations Managing or supporting administrative functions such as budget planning, project control, logistics, procurement of supplies or equipment, personnel or performance management, security management, information technology support services, or other resource management activities for a complex program Coordinating across organizational elements, stakeholders, or external partners, resolving program issues, monitoring special studies or projects, communicating policy or procedural guidance, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and mission requirements NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.
