GS-15 One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 level in Federal Service or equivalent responsibility in the private sector/pay systems equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform as a Program Manager: Experience leading organization wide data strategy or integration efforts that improve data quality, consistency, and usability; developing and applying enterprise level policies or standards to solve complex data or operational problems across multiple teams or organizations; and guiding senior leaders in using data to inform decisions and advance large modernization or transformation initiatives.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
