Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) evaluating engineering, facility, infrastructure, or similar support programs; 2) identifying problems, trends, and gaps; 3) providing leadership with program status updates; 4) coordinating with higher headquarters or other stakeholders on changing requirements; and 5) monitoring complex projects or program actions across multiple offices or organizations to keep work on schedule, resolve issues, avoid duplicated effort, and meet requirements.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
