PROGRAM ANALYST (TITLE 5)

About this role

AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Service "under the authority of Title 5, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)", and is open to current on-board (Tenure 1, 2 and 3) US Federal employees interested in helping the Department of the Army meet our mission requirements as a Program Analyst. PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management.

Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-09 Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provided a working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and federal civilian or military personnel programs; experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

Experience, education, or training which has provided application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management.
