About this role

GS-11: EXPERIENCE: Possess at least one (1) full year of specialized experience, which equips you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the Program Analyst, GS-11 position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, this specialized experience must have been equivalent to the GS-09 level in Federal service to qualify at the GS-11.

Examples of specialized experience include: providing direct administrative support to senior-level leadership; independently managing complex calendars and competing priorities; coordinating committees, meetings, events, and organizational initiatives; preparing executive-level correspondence and other professional documentation; supporting faculty or professional personnel activities, including CVs, bio sketches, performance documentation, or similar records; coordinating office operations, facilities, supplies, and technical support needs; and effectively collaborating with faculty, staff, leadership, and external partners in complex academic, healthcare, government, or research environments.

OR GS-11: EDUCATION: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. OR GS-11: COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION - Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level.

You must possess equivalent combinations of experience and education as described in question 1 and 2 to meet the total requirements for this position. You must have a combination of specialized experience and education as described above. Only graduate level education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level (i.e., 1 year of graduate-level education with major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences, or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position) may be combined with experience.
