About this role
Conditions of Employment Continued: This position is Emergency Essential (E-E). The incumbent must meet all requirements of E-E-positions and may be required, as a condition of employment, to take a series of vaccinations and annual boosters to immunize against anthrax and other diseases. During w crisis, the incumbent or designated alternate must continue to perform the-B-& duties until volioved-by-proper authority. The same-will be-required-to-take-part-in readiness-exercises.
This position can-not be-vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the organization to function effectively. This moois-the-oritorio of an E E position and requires that the incumbent or designated alternate to be-removed from any military real-status. This is a Mission Essential (ME) position performing a Mission Critical Function (MCF) which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions.
IAW, DoDI 3020-42, Defense Continuity Programs. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administration and Management Positions, Management and Program Analysis Series. 0343 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-12, or equivalent in other pay systems.
Examples of specialized experience includes includes the ability to plan, organize, develop studies or projects and to negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations, where the proposals involve substantial Air Force resources, require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures, or may be in conflict with previous programming actions; comprehensive knowledge of the Federal, DOD, and Air Force planning, programming, and budgeting process (PPBS); and thorough knowledge of Air Force program goals and objectives, the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions as related to actual Events; thorough knowledge of advanced management and organizational principles and practices and a comprehensive knowledge of planning, programming, and budgeting regulations, guidelines, and processes and a thorough knowledge of Department of Defense and Air Force planning, acquisition, and management processes to provide PPBS guidelines and advisory services in support to long-range Air Force war, mobilization, exercise, deployment and similar operations planning efforts.
