PROGRAM ANALYST
About this role
Conditions of Employment (cont.) Position is designated special-sensitive and requires the employee obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions present a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety. It is required that you (a) refrain from the use of illegal drugs and (b) if requested, submit to urinalysis testing. This is a Temporary position NTE 30 May 2027.
The individual selected for this position may be extended without further competition. Current Federal civilian employees may apply for this position using "Reinstatement" eligibility and if selected, a break in service of at least 4 calendar days may be required prior to appointment to this position. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management, Management and Program Analysis Series 0343 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH 02, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS 11 or equivalent in the Federal Service (may have been obtained in the federal service, military, or private sector).
Specialized experience must include: Expert knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of command level plans and programs for conducting major operations such as Orbital Warfare (OW), Offensive Space Operations (OSO), Defensive Space Operations (DSO), Space Superiority Operations, Space and Electronic Warfare (SEW), Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Space Command and Control (C2), Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control (CJADC2), Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3), Battlespace Awareness (BA), Environmental Monitoring (EM), Space Based Environmental Monitoring (SBEM), Nuclear Detonation (NUDET), Missile Warning/Missile Tracking (MW/MT), Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), strategic and tactical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), Planning, Programming, Budgeting, andExecution (PPBE), acquisition, special operations, or similar operations.
