Production Support Specialist (Components)

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Significant management and administrative experience, demonstrating adaptability, flexibility, and exceptional skills in planning, organizing, scheduling, and problem solving.

The incumbent must possess a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of industrial management analytical principles, process flow, depot operations, material procurement and financial principal; 2) Must have knowledge and be proficient in Naval Depot Maintenance Systems (NDMS) and concepts of MRP/MRPII. Demonstrates the ability to adapt and proactively function with senior management across the NAVAIR Team, including Commanding Officers, Program Managers, FST Leadership and other department heads; 3) Knowledge and understanding of the FRC East financial reporting systems, including indirect and direct budget structures, policies, and processes, and ability to execute within budget; 4) Plan, schedule, and coordinate component workload based on command's quarterly requirements.

Interface with the master scheduler on developing these plans and to ensure the funding and supportability is in place prior to induction; 5)Develop short and long range strategic planning and provide oversight and leadership for the (MRO) production team to help solve complex issues; 6) Analysis of work orders or work requests for manufacture or repair of component, engine related workload or other aeronautical material, determines parts, tools, other equipment, and technical information required.
