LAS Art Foundation is seeking a Production Assistant to join its Production team and support the delivery of the 2026–2027 programme.
Working closely with Head of Production & Planning, Production Manager and the wider Production team, the Production Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of exhibitions, installations, and public events from pre-production through to deinstallation and documentation. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines project coordination with on-site production. The Production Assistant will assist in managing relationships with artists, partners, vendors, and contractors, coordinate production logistics, and support exhibition installation, maintenance, and deinstallation.
During exhibition periods and events, they will also support the smooth day-to-day running of exhibitions, including maintenance and upkeep of our projects. The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends during exhibition installation periods and public programmes.
Production Planning & Management Support the planning and delivery of exhibitions, installations, and events, including maintaining production timelines, installation schedules, call sheets, and run-of-show documents. Assist with production budgets by tracking expenses, processing quotes and invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. Coordinate production logistics, including venue access, deliveries, shipping, transport, customs, and storage.
Act as a key point of coordination between LAS, venues, artists, contractors, and external production partners to ensure clear communication and timely delivery. Prepare and maintain production documentation, including technical briefs, scopes of work, production plans, floor plans, and technical riders. Support the planning and coordination of exhibition layouts and event spaces in close collaboration with the Curatorial team, contributing to the successful realisation of each project's spatial and production requirements.
