Product Principal, Active Fixed Income

About this role

We are looking for an experienced Product Principal to help shape and deliver our Active Fixed Income and liquidity product strategy. Working within our Strategy, Product and Marketing function, you will take a leading role across the end-to-end product lifecycle, from developing new propositions to managing, enhancing and closing existing products. You will collaborate with colleagues across Product, Investments, Distribution and Operations to deliver client-focused solutions that support our commercial ambitions and meet regulatory and governance requirements.

This is a visible role offering the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, contribute to strategic decision-making and act as a trusted subject matter expert across a diverse range of investment products and structures. What you’ll be doing: Leading the design and delivery of Active Fixed Income and liquidity product initiatives across a range of investment vehicles Driving new product launches, enhancements, mergers and closures in line with client needs and commercial objectives Managing complex product projects, including defining milestones, coordinating stakeholders, monitoring risks and resolving delivery challenges Ensuring product activities comply with relevant governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures Reviewing the commercial viability and ongoing performance of the product range, identifying opportunities for improvement Providing technical product expertise covering propositions, regulation, tax, disclosures, registrations and operational considerations Developing strong relationships across Investments, Distribution, Operations, governance committees, service providers and external partners Presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders, governance committees and relevant legal entity or fund boards What we're looking for: Significant experience in product strategy, development and lifecycle management within the international asset management industry Strong expertise in Active Fixed Income and liquidity strategies, products and client proposition requirements Extensive experience of launching, registering, operating and amending pooled investment funds across multiple jurisdictions A strong technical understanding of product structures, including UCITS and non-UCITS funds, ETFs and separately managed accounts Detailed knowledge of the regulatory and governance requirements affecting investment products Proven project management experience gained through delivering complex, high-profile initiatives Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging across different levels and functions A degree or equivalent experience, with a relevant professional qualification such as IMC, CFA or CAIA being advantageous Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
