Our Product team is seeking a Senior Finance Expert.

You will be the accounting authority our product teams build with. You shape how we solve our customers' finance problems, and you have the final say on whether a release is right before it reaches them. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES - Partner with PMs, designers and engineers to scope solutions to real customer accounting problems. - Turn customer needs and accounting rules into clear requirements that a technical team can build from.

- Sign off on the quality of releases, and hold a release when accounting correctness is at risk. - Speak with customers and accounting partners to understand how finance teams work with DATEV and the wider SMB tooling stack. - Act as the accounting reference for product teams across Moss. - Bring a forward-looking view on accounting tooling into roadmap discussions. ABOUT YOU - 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in an SMB context, for example in an accounting firm, tax advisory or finance team - You have built or implemented accounting software for customers or for your own organisation - Strong working knowledge of DATEV - You are fluent in German & English - Nice to have: NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics In addition, here are the skills and attributes we are looking for: - Expert: you know accounting at cash level, from postings to year-end, and you keep going deeper.
