ABOUT THE ROLE This is a high-impact product design role at a fast-growing EdTech platform that reaches tens of millions of students globally. You will sit at the center of an ambitious shift toward AI-native product experiences, working closely with engineering and leadership to ship work that raises the bar on quality across the entire product. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own complete product areas from conception through delivery, shipping ideas to millions of users within days.

- Elevate every touchpoint students see and feel through UI excellence and motion design. - Build and scale a design system from the ground up, including curated components and quality reviews that make excellence easy to replicate. - Pioneer AI-native design by developing AI-assisted workflows and product experiences that change how the team researches, ideates, and ships. - Set a craft standard that makes your work the reference point for the broader team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Several years of product design experience with the ability to mentor more junior designers; portfolio demonstrating work that moved metrics and delighted users matters most. - Craft-obsessed mindset where details are the design and you push back until the bar is raised. - Active, enthusiastic user of AI tools across prototyping, research, and shipping, seeing them as a multiplier rather than a novelty.

- Systems thinker who scales quality through code-first design systems, AI-powered reviews, or whatever approach works at speed and scale. - Proven ability to simplify complex user journeys into experiences that feel obvious. - Strong bias toward action: prototypes over presentations, experiments over endless debate. - Builder mentality with willingness to get hands dirty; experience shipping a side project end to end or contributing to a codebase is a bonus.

- Background in consumer apps, AI-native products, design systems, or EdTech is a strong plus. LOCATION On-site in Berlin, Germany. This role requires in-person presence and is not available remotely. Visa sponsorship is not available.
