Procurement Specialist (12 Month Fixed Term w/Benefits - Hybrid)

Malwarebytes is looking for.. A Procurement Specialist to cover a 12 month maternity leave who is able to report into the Cork, Ireland office 2 days per week. During this fixed term assignment, full benefits are provided by Malwarebytes. This role will support the sourcing and procurement of computer subscriptions, cloud services, professional services, and operational costs. The role will partner closely with IT, Engineering, Information Security, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to negotiate commercial agreements, manage supplier performance, optimize spending, and ensure procurement activities align with company objectives and security requirements.
Compensation Range: €40,000 - 50,000 EUR/year What You Will Do: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition review, vendor sourcing, the RFP process, contract negotiation, and purchase order management. Partner with Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure purchase orders are created and approved in a timely manner for all applicable invoices. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive procurement efficiencies.
Negotiate contracts, including pricing, terms and conditions, SLAs, renewal provisions, and commercial commitments. Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, Engineering, Research, and other relevant departments on PR/PO creation, vendor reviews, and onboarding. Track contract renewals and proactively manage renegotiations. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships. Requesting and gathering the required documentation for vendor onboarding.
Ensure vendors meet security and compliance requirements. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Track procurement KPIs, including savings, spend analysis, and procurement cycle times. Skills You'll Need to Have: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a related field. 3–5 years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
Experience managing supplier relationships and commercial negotiations. Experience in a multinational or fast-paced corporate environment. Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and purchasing controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite. Experience using AI systems.
