SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Your online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/pay band in the Federal service. For this position, experience must be at least equivalent to the EJ/EK-3 or GS-3 level. To meet the Specialized Experience requirement, candidates must demonstrate performance of at least three of the following responsibilities: Serving as the Senior Program Manager/Supervisor responsible for providing technical leadership, coordination and oversight of a senior level staff; Serving as the Project Manager for a large, complex environmental management/remediation, Decommissioning and Decontamination (D&D), waste management, waste disposal, or construction project at a nuclear materials processing facility; Developing policies and long-term plans and strategies for dealing with a range of technical problems involving facility operations, facility construction, materials storage and handling, waste management, remedial actions, and worker safety and health at a nuclear materials processing facility; Establishing technical, cost and schedule baselines and participation on contractor baseline validation reviews; Interfacing with Federal and State environmental regulators involving environmental cleanup activities and compliance with environmental laws; and Implementation of environmental cleanup efforts under enforceable agreements with Federal and State regulators at a nuclear materials processing facility.
