General Role Description Plan and schedule short- and long-term manufacturing processes for large industrial power electronics equipment Role Accountabilities · Bring Plan production tasks and schedules according to client orders · Plan and coordinate production activities to improve runtime, in collaboration with production management · Develop and review production plans with managers for approval · Adjust assembly build plans to ensure production goals are achieved · Report material availability data and conditions affecting production continuity to production team as needed · Review material shortage data and communicate with the Senior Production Planner for resolution · Produce shortage reports and collaborate with Procurement and Warehouse to ensure parts are available to meet production demands · Review capacity demands and provide feedback to the Senior Production Planner to ensure timely deliveries · Monitor inventory levels to meet planned inventory goals · Develop and issue materials and parts requisitions · Release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse for marshalling · Update scheduling spreadsheets and production charts · Utilize ERP system to generate assembly work orders General Employee Accountabilities · Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager · Give manager best advice · Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified · Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager · Exemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment · Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws · Recommend viable improvements proactively · Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes Requirements Minimum Qualifications · Associate’s degree or equivalent via education and/or work experience · 2 years of production planning experience in an assembly production environment · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts · Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills · Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility · Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and an ERP system · Availability to travel, [domestically and internationally, up to 5%,] sometimes with limited notice Preferred Qualifications · Proficiency in Oracle · 5 years’ total production planning experience in a manufacturing environment Link to TMEIC Corporation Americas website https://www.tmeic.com/ .
