PHYSICAL SCIENTIST

About this role

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience independently leading a scientific project from concept to completion. Experience managing, manipulating, disseminating, and visualizing complex geospatial datasets using desktop or web-based applications.

Experience creating and amalgamating disparate multi-dimensional (has two or more dimensions such as location, time or other attribute information) geospatial datasets to create products for tactical situational awareness. Experience conveying complex scientific and technical information, including acting as a trusted advisor to influence policy, program direction, and senior leadership decisions.
