Position: Bilingual Norwegian STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety Type: Contract Compensation: $77–$81/hour Location: Remote Start Date: Immediate Role Responsibilities Write expert-level prompts in Norwegian across specialized scientific topics.
Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content. Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations. Collaborate with AI research teams to improve model safety and handling of technical topics. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and enhance AI model performance . Qualifications Must-Have PhD in chemistry , biology , or a closely related field.
Native or near-native fluency in Norwegian and business-level written English . Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques. Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information. Preferred Based in Norway . Expertise in radiochemistry , nuclear chemistry , or related fields. Demonstrated depth in a specific subfield like organic synthesis or molecular biology .
Experience with chemical safety, biosafety, or hazardous-materials handling. Experience reviewing or grading technical content.
