About this role

Unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. This is a part time, permanent position working 22.5 hours per week, Tuesday - Thursday either 08:30 - 16:30 or 09:00 - 17:00. Please note we would request days to be flexible during busy monthly payroll dates. Purpose of the post: As a Payroll Officer handling multi-PAYE accounts, you’ll be responsible for managing the accurate and timely processing of payroll under Pay As You Earn (PAYE).

The role involves ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations, maintaining precise records, and providing exceptional support to employees and multiple HR teams regarding payroll queries. Process payroll for multiple PAYE accounts accurately and on schedule. Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and HMRC guidelines. Processing and checking statutory and occupational absence calculations Maintain detailed payroll records and prepare periodic reports.

Administration and reconciliation of monthly statutory payments, employee benefits and pensions schemes. Address and resolve employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner. Experience in payroll processing, ideally with multi-PAYE accounts. Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong team player who can also work independently. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
