Non-Executive Director (Ireland)

About this role

The candidate must be located in Ireland, applications of those residing outside of Ireland will not be considered. BwB is seeking a Non-Executive Director to join the company's board. This role will offer an independent perspective on company activities to provide insight on possibilities for enhanced decision-making. This role will advise Senior Management on how to enable further development of the company in Ireland, which will require a constructive working relationship with Senior Management.

The current time commitment for this role is approximately 2 hours per quarter. Minimum 10 years' experience in financial services, investment banking, or a closely related field Strong knowledge of financial products and services; prior ESG or sustainability experience is essential Demonstrable understanding of board governance, fiduciary duties and leadership at senior level Familiarity with Ireland's financial, regulatory or business environment is an advantage Skills Required Exercises independent judgement and is willing to constructively challenge executive decisions Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at board and senior management level Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and diplomatically Discreet, with a strong sense of integrity and personal accountability Collaborative by nature while equally capable of working autonomously Committed to BwB's mission and values around sustainability and social impact Bankers without Boundaries (BwB), an innovator in global finance, is an investment banking, asset management and advisory firm focused on delivering value to our clients that benefit the environment and society.
