Your primary focus will be on validating and driving our expansion into a new segment: travel agencies, both in the Dutch and international markets with a strong emphasis in the English speaking markets . You'll work on increasing our business activities with travel agencies and travel-related companies, helping us identify and penetrate new markets. You'll set hypotheses and run experiments to discover the best approaches for our B2B products targeted at travel agencies.

This involves shaping our existing products to make them appealing to this new segment or developing new solutions to serve these customer segments effectively. Your number one challenge in the first 3 months will be identifying high-potential opportunities within the travel agency sector , testing hypotheses, and laying the groundwork for scalable, repeatable sales processes. You'll report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the Growth Sales and Customer Success teams to shape our B2B strategy, define key problems to solve, and drive revenue growth in this new segment.

Segment validation and entry Qualified lead generation Number of new clients acquired B2B revenue growth from travel agencies Sales process development Client satisfaction 🧐 Responsibilities in detail Market research and validation Identify opportunities within the travel agency sector in Dutch and international markets. Test hypotheses and validate market needs. Develop hypotheses about new market opportunities and design experiments to test them.

Strategic business development Develop and execute strategies to penetrate the travel agency market. Adapt and shape our B2B products to meet the needs of new clients, potentially developing new solutions. Identify opportunities to diversify our B2B strategy and implement scalable, repeatable sales processes. Lead generation and sales Generate and qualify leads through outreach and networking. Build relationships with key stakeholders.

Present proposals and close deals with travel agencies. Maintain a pipeline of high-quality leads and opportunities. Meet and exceed revenue targets by driving sales growth in new segment. Process optimization Design scalable sales processes tailored to travel agencies. Collaborate with teams to align efforts. Maintain accurate records of business development activities, opportunities, and pipeline status in our CRM system.

Generate regular reports on performance, including key metrics and progress towards goals. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. 🧰 What you bring Experience and skills: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the travel industry or related sectors. Proven track record of successfully entering new markets and driving revenue growth.

Experience in setting hypotheses and running experiments to validate market opportunities. Strong understanding of B2B sales principles, strategies, and scalable sales processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software, ideally Pipedrive. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting. Strong organizational and time management skills. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

An existing network within the travel industry is a plus. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Personal attributes: You're proactive, innovative, and not afraid to take calculated risks to achieve goals. You make decisions based on data and are skilled at analyzing market trends and performance metrics. You’re passionate about understanding and meeting client needs. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment and able to adjust strategies as needed.
