.NET Software Engineer

About this role

Client: FL State Government Agency Position: .NET Software Engineer Term: Renewable Annual Contract Compensation: Pay = USD 48/Hr - USD 50/Hr Location: Tallahassee, FL Work Authorization: ONLY USC and GC with permanent residence - NO other visas will be considered Scope: Responsibilities include development, maintenance and serving as a subject matter expert for applications dealing with complex financial business processes on large cross-functional application projects, ensuring that robust and scalable solutions are implemented.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or another related technical field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: 7+ years as a lead developer in .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio 5+ years of broad experience working with development technologies, including Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle databases or similar relational databases. Responsibilities: Work as a developer, facilitator and subject matter expert for applications and services dealing with complex financial business processes on large cross-functional application projects, ensuring that robust and scalable solutions are implemented.

Provide guidance and oversight to quality assurance on all new code from inception through integration, staging, and production environments. Identify, analyze, and resolve problems and issues with troubleshooting tools and techniques as well as teamwork. Work with the team toward continuous improvement; may include design, definition of roadmaps, standardization of processes and methodologies; collaborate with other developers and architects to drive guidelines, methodologies, and documentation.

Work in partnership with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the project are communicated, supported, and delivered to the highest standards. Develop and apply knowledge of trends, relevant software development technologies, and methodologies.
