Barbaricum is seeking a highly experienced Computer Engineer IV (UI/UX SME) to support Software & Cyber Engineering for Maneuver, Surveillance, & Engagement Systems at NSWC Crane .
This position will lead efforts in engineering, building, testing, and deploying advanced cloud-enabled AI/ML solutions that enhance warfighter capabilities in surveillance, targeting, and engagement operations. The expectation for this remote position with occasional travel to work on-site in Crane, IN. Responsibilities : Partner with project managers and engineering teams to define objectives for UI/UX systems in support of maneuver, surveillance, and engagement missions.
Develop and prototype UI/UX systems to address mission-specific requirements, including computer vision, sensor fusion, and decision-support applications. Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of UI/UX performance against operational datasets. Analyze test data to identify model strengths, weaknesses, and mission relevance. Refine and optimize systems to ensure robustness, scalability, and cyber resilience. Troubleshoot complex system challenges and provide technical guidance for deployed solutions.
